Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Web Development Engineer to join our growing team in Dammam. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications that align with our clients’ strategic objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists, to ensure the delivery of innovative and reliable digital solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in web development technologies, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Ensure seamless integration with back-end services to deliver a cohesive user experience.
• Back-End Development: Develop and optimize server-side applications using technologies such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (Laravel). Collaborate with database engineers to design efficient data models and APIs.
• Full-Stack Collaboration: Work collaboratively with front-end and back-end teams to integrate systems, resolve technical challenges, and optimize application performance. Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain databases (SQL and NoSQL) to ensure data integrity, security, and scalability. Write optimized queries and stored procedures to enhance application efficiency.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to identify and resolve bugs. Utilize debugging tools and methodologies to ensure the reliability and stability of web applications.
• Deployment and Maintenance: Deploy applications to production environments using CI/CD pipelines. Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates or patches as needed to ensure continuous operation.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively within an agile development environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to documentation efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Strong back-end development skills with Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar technologies. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services.
• Database Expertise: Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases. Knowledge of database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and familiarity with branching strategies, pull requests, and code merging.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
• Teamwork and Communication: Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, methodologies, and project requirements. A passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
