Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Software Developer at Brothers-YE IT, your core responsibilities will include:

• System Development & Enhancement: Design, develop, and implement scalable procurement software solutions, including ERP integrations, e-procurement platforms, and automated workflow systems. Ensure these solutions align with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Code Optimization & Maintenance: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement specialists, IT professionals, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Integration & Compliance: Ensure seamless integration of procurement software with existing enterprise systems, such as financial, inventory, and supply chain management tools. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, security protocols, and data protection standards.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user manuals. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of new procurement tools.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and procurement software innovations. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency, user experience, and business outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum) is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in software development languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with procurement-specific technologies, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and database management (SQL/NoSQL) is highly desirable.
• Development Frameworks: Proficiency in modern development frameworks and tools, including Spring Boot, .NET, React, Angular, or Node.js. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to assess complex procurement challenges and develop innovative software solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering tangible business value.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Awareness of procurement software trends, such as AI-driven automation and blockchain for supply chain transparency, is beneficial.
