QA/QC Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our dynamic team at The Arab Lens in Al Khobar. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes, contributing directly to our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance plans to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Conduct thorough inspections and audits to identify potential risks and deviations before they impact production.
• Quality Control Processes: Oversee and execute quality control procedures, including testing, sampling, and documentation, to verify that all products meet predefined specifications and performance criteria. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, inspection findings, and corrective actions taken. Maintain accurate records of all QA/QC activities to support audits, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process optimization. Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate overall product quality.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to international quality management systems such as ISO 9001, as well as industry-specific regulations and customer requirements. Stay updated on evolving standards and best practices to maintain compliance and drive innovation.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to foster a culture of quality excellence. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality protocols, inspection techniques, and compliance obligations to ensure a unified approach to quality management.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential quality risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent defects, recalls, or non-conformances. Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to assess and prioritize risks in product development and manufacturing.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance and control, preferably within a manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment. Experience with quality management software and tools is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis techniques. Familiarity with testing equipment, calibration procedures, and quality management systems (QMS) is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software to track quality performance and trends.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey quality standards, report findings, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency is a valuable asset.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong project management skills to lead quality-related projects from inception to completion.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local and international quality regulations, safety standards, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
