Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Project Commercial Management: Lead the commercial planning, execution, and monitoring of energy projects, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget while maximizing profitability.
• Contract Administration: Develop, review, and manage contracts in collaboration with legal and procurement teams. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, mitigate risks, and resolve disputes efficiently to protect Siemens Energy’s interests.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and alignment. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks associated with projects. Implement strategies to minimize exposure and ensure project resilience in dynamic market conditions.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor project financials, including revenue recognition, cash flow management, and cost tracking. Prepare accurate financial forecasts and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, industry standards, and Siemens Energy’s policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes and their potential impact on projects.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Contribute to talent development initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CMA) is a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in commercial project management, preferably within the energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors. Experience with Siemens Energy or similar multinational corporations is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, contract law, and financial analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Project, and advanced Excel skills are required.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
• Cultural Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and adapt to the demands of the Saudi market. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are desirable.
