Position Overview

The Junior Front-End Developer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications and user interfaces. Collaborating closely with seasoned developers, designers, and product teams, you will assist in building responsive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences while simultaneously honing your technical skills. This role is tailored for early-career professionals, recent graduates, or individuals with hands-on experience through internships, freelance projects, or personal initiatives, all aiming to establish a robust foundation in front-end development.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive and mobile-friendly web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring seamless user interactions across all devices.
• Assist in constructing reusable UI components and interactive interfaces to enhance development efficiency and consistency.
• Transform UI/UX design mockups into clean, functional, and responsive web applications with meticulous attention to detail.
• Optimize websites and applications for speed, performance, and usability to meet industry standards and user expectations.
• Conduct thorough testing and maintain compatibility across modern browsers and devices to ensure a flawless user experience.

Application Maintenance

• Diagnose and resolve front-end issues and performance bottlenecks to maintain application integrity.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing web applications to ensure long-term reliability.
• Collaborate on the implementation of new features and improvements to elevate user experience and functionality.
• Perform routine code updates and maintenance tasks to uphold system efficiency and security.

Collaboration

• Work in tandem with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to align development efforts with project goals.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative and iterative development process.
• Engage in code reviews and team discussions to share insights, receive feedback, and uphold coding standards.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and technical solutions clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Code Quality

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and development standards.
• Follow version control procedures to ensure seamless collaboration and code integrity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in a professional or academic setting.
• 0–2 years of hands-on experience in front-end development or web development, including internships, freelance projects, or personal initiatives.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and their practical application.
• Proficiency in Git version control to manage and track code changes effectively.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with the ability to write efficient and scalable code.
• Basic experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular to build dynamic user interfaces.
• Familiarity with responsive CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS to streamline development and ensure design consistency.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON to integrate front-end components with back-end services seamlessly.
• Proficiency in using browser developer tools and debugging techniques to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
