Job Overview

As an IT Specialist at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will serve as the backbone of our digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across all club facilities, including offices, training grounds, and sporting venues. Your expertise will empower our staff, coaches, and management with reliable, secure, and cutting-edge technology solutions, enabling them to focus on what they do best—delivering world-class performance on the field. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Infrastructure Management: Provide comprehensive technical support for hardware, software, networks, and IT systems across the club, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, servers, printers, and mobile devices to guarantee optimal functionality.
• Network & Connectivity Solutions: Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi, to ensure secure, stable, and high-speed connectivity for all club operations.
• Sports Technology Integration: Support critical sports operations technology, such as match-day systems, video analysis tools, and access control systems, to enhance performance and security.
• Data Security & Compliance: Maintain robust data security protocols, manage backups, and implement disaster recovery procedures to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• User & Access Management: Oversee user accounts, permissions, and access rights to protect club assets while facilitating seamless collaboration among staff and stakeholders.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to procure IT services, equipment, and solutions that align with the club’s strategic goals.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Document IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to streamline operations and support knowledge transfer within the team.
• System Upgrades & Innovation: Assist in planning and implementing new IT systems and upgrades to keep the club at the forefront of technological advancement.
• Policy & Best Practice Adherence: Ensure all IT activities comply with club policies, industry regulations, and best practices to uphold the highest standards of integrity and security.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for supporting high-performance environments. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support or specialist roles, with a proven track record of managing complex IT environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments, networking fundamentals, server management, and IT security principles.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently, even under pressure.
• Communication & Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sports Industry Experience: Prior experience in sports organizations, stadiums, or event-based environments, with an understanding of the unique IT demands of such settings.
• Security & Surveillance Systems: Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and audiovisual systems to support match-day and facility operations.
• Cloud & Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, as well as basic database management and system integrations.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and match days, to ensure uninterrupted support during critical events.
