Procurement Manager – Prefabricated Buildings & Modular Units

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at AL BAIT AL HADI PREFAB HOUSES IND LLC.SP, based in Dammam. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process for prefabricated buildings and modular units, ensuring timely acquisition of high-quality materials while optimizing cost efficiency and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to prefabricated buildings and modular units, aligning with project timelines and budgetary constraints. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to secure the best value for materials, components, and services.
• Supplier Management: Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with domestic and international suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules. Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends, material costs, and procurement processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality. Implement cost-saving initiatives and leverage bulk purchasing where feasible.
• Contract Administration: Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with company policies. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to resolve contract-related issues promptly.
• Inventory & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize lead times, and streamline the delivery of prefabricated components to construction sites. Ensure seamless integration with production schedules.
• Risk Management: Assess procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, material shortages, or geopolitical factors, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts on project delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project requirements, budget forecasts, and sustainability goals. Provide procurement insights to support decision-making processes.
• Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to local and international regulations, ethical standards, and sustainability practices. Promote the use of eco-friendly materials and suppliers where possible to support the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you will possess a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within the construction, manufacturing, or prefabricated buildings sector. A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is highly desirable.

You must demonstrate a proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization, with a keen understanding of procurement software and ERP systems. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred, and proficiency in procurement tools such as SAP or Oracle is a significant advantage.
