Position Overview
Join Grey Wolf Oilfield Services (KSA) Limited Branch as a Finance Analyst and play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence within a dynamic and safety-focused organization. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for executing a range of accounting functions, including month-end reporting, journal entry processing, and financial reconciliations. Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Analyst at Grey Wolf, your core responsibilities will include:
- Month-End Close Support: Process and review month-end journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. Assist in the month-end closing process to facilitate timely and precise financial reporting.
- Financial Reconciliations: Reconcile inter-company accounts on a monthly and mid-month basis to maintain financial integrity. Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and prepare weekly bank reconciliations, including the upload of checks on a daily basis.
- Accounts Payable & Cash Management: Process accounts payable invoices and assist in setting up wire transfers to ensure efficient cash flow management. Prepare journal entries to clear reconciling items and maintain accurate financial records.
- Cash Forecasting: Develop and maintain a monthly cash forecast to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain the month-end binder and Excel spreadsheets to document financial activities. Ensure all journal entries are properly checked in, filed, and accessible for all companies. Collaborate with auditors by providing supporting documents and addressing inquiries to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Adaptability & Collaboration: Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the financial health of the organization. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate financial goals and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a recognized institution in Saudi Arabia is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred, with a focus on financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in income statement analysis to support monthly close processes. Familiarity with SAP and experience with Saudi e-Invoicing requirements (ZATCA) and VAT regulations are highly desirable. Experience in the oil and gas industry is a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and convey financial insights.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
