Position Overview

As a Treasury Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our cash management processes. This position is critical to maintaining the financial health of our organization by overseeing daily cash reconciliation, banking operations, and compliance with financial policies and regulations. You will be responsible for safeguarding our financial assets while supporting the seamless functioning of our Central region locations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where precision, accountability, and proactive problem-solving are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Financial Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliation of cash receipts and Point of Sale (POS) transactions from each reception desk to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Cash Management: Deposit all cash collections to the bank on a daily basis, maintaining strict adherence to cash handling and banking protocols.
• Financial Record Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance of books of accounts and records related to all banking transactions, providing a clear and auditable trail of financial activities.
• Cash Position Tracking: Establish and monitor the daily cash position for each till location, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial stability across all branches.
• Regulatory Compliance: Uphold and enforce cash management and banking-related financial policies and regulations as mandated by the Finance department, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.
• POS Device Oversight: Track and manage all POS devices, verifying their functionality and addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• End-of-Day (EOD) Review: Conduct a comprehensive review of all EOD closed accounts on a daily basis to validate transactions and ensure financial accuracy.
• POS Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed POS reports, providing insights into sales performance and transactional data for management review.

Scope and Impact

This role encompasses the cashiering and banking of cash receipts across all My Clinic locations within the Central region. Your contributions will directly support the financial operations of multiple facilities, ensuring that our patients and staff experience seamless and secure financial transactions. By maintaining rigorous financial controls and transparent reporting, you will help safeguard our organization’s assets and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Certification: Registration with the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) and active pursuit of a relevant accounting qualification are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel and other essential office productivity tools, with the ability to analyze financial data and generate accurate reports.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report financial information clearly and concisely.
