Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance, will be responsible for a wide range of duties designed to support the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Routine Maintenance: Performing scheduled inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and extend operational lifespan.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing mechanical issues, identifying root causes, and executing timely repairs to restore equipment functionality, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Equipment Installation: Assisting in the installation of new machinery and components, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and integration with existing systems.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and emergency response protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills
