Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSE Analyst to join a premier organization based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role presents a unique opportunity for a professional who excels in both hands-on fieldwork and analytical reporting to enhance workplace safety, health, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and data-driven decision-making skills to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As an HSE Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations while fostering a culture of proactive risk management. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, evaluate, and interpret HSE data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.
  • Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, investigate incidents, and prepare detailed compliance reports to mitigate future occurrences and enhance operational safety.
  • KPI Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and track quarterly Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including PPE acknowledgments and audit documentation, to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory targets.
  • Regulatory Compliance Reviews: Perform formal reviews of site operations to verify adherence to Saudi safety regulations, international standards, and internal HSE policies, ensuring full compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
  • Database and Record Management: Maintain and audit HSE databases, records, and safety statistics to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with reporting obligations.
  • Collaboration and Training: Partner with cross-functional departments to develop and implement injury prevention strategies, deliver HSE training sessions, and support hazard analysis across all site activities to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Campaign and Contractor Management: Organize and oversee HSE campaigns, as well as track contractor submissions to ensure alignment with safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Health, or Environmental Science from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Certifications: Relevant HSE certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and regulatory expertise.
  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar HSE role, with a proven track record in implementing safety programs, conducting audits, and managing compliance initiatives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to create reports, analyze data, and present findings effectively.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear and concise communication with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and team members.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of local Saudi safety regulations and EHS compliance standards, ensuring that all practices align with legal and corporate requirements.

Contract Details

This position is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and is offered on a one-year contract with the possibility of extension, subject to performance and organizational needs.
