Position Overview

Join Siemens Energy as a Financial Analyst and play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence within our Tooling Center. This position offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you will oversee end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage cost centers, projects, budgets, and forecasts while delivering precise financial reports. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing costs, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst at Siemens Energy, your core responsibilities will include:

• Financial Control and Reporting: Manage financial control activities across multiple cost centers, including cost allocations, tooling rental rates, and financial reporting. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with meticulous attention to journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking initiatives to drive business performance. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency to enhance financial outcomes.
• Project Accounting: Oversee project accounting activities, including cost reconciliations, SAP invoicing, billing management, and consumables tracking. Ensure seamless financial operations for all projects under your purview.
• Asset Management: Manage the full asset lifecycle, including CAPEX planning, asset creation and retirement, vendor invoice reconciliation, and payment approvals. Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards throughout the process.
• Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure adherence to FRG, IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls. Support both internal and external audits, as well as export control requirements, to maintain the highest standards of financial integrity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; an MBA is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost center management, asset management, and procurement support.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively and solve complex problems.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly desirable.
