Position Overview

Eiwaa Oil and Gas Services LLC, a leading entity in the oil and gas sector based in Dammam, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with tax laws and submit accurate tax filings to relevant authorities.
• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation of accounts to maintain optimal cash flow and financial stability.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Record and classify financial transactions, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial data within the ERP system. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities to support audit readiness.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis to senior management.
• Internal Controls and Audit Support: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
• Tax Planning and Optimization: Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for tax optimization while ensuring full compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and senior leadership, to provide financial insights and support informed business decisions.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Recommend and implement best practices to streamline financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry or a multinational corporation. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel and financial software. Familiarity with IFRS and local tax regulations is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
