Waiter (Saudi)

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join our dynamic dining team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional table service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience. The Waiter will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, taking orders, managing table sections, and coordinating with the kitchen to ensure prompt and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities

The Waiter will perform a wide range of duties to uphold the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

• Guest Interaction and Service: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, present menus, and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on their preferences. Assist guests in selecting food and beverage options while accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
• Order Management: Accurately take and relay guest orders to the kitchen, ensuring all specifications, including modifications or allergies, are clearly communicated. Verify order accuracy and presentation before delivery to the table.
• Table Management: Oversee a designated section of 1-6 tables, ensuring each guest receives attentive and timely service. Perform regular table checks to assess satisfaction and address any concerns or additional requests promptly.
• Food and Beverage Delivery: Serve food and beverages in a professional manner, adhering to organizational standards for presentation and timing. Ensure all items are delivered correctly and efficiently to maintain a smooth dining experience.
• Compliance and Standards: Strictly adhere to Front-of-House (FOH) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including compliance with HACCP Intermediate and FM Mandates Basic standards. Maintain awareness of Food Service Standards and Material Control to support inventory management and asset preservation.
• Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and discretion. Resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation for the establishment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination and efficient service delivery. Communicate effectively to address any operational challenges or guest needs.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage service, with a proven track record in a guest-facing role. Prior experience managing a section of tables is highly desirable.
• Certifications: HACCP Intermediate certification is mandatory. Knowledge of FOH SOPs and Food Safety Standards is essential.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays or dishes, and perform tasks with no visual or auditory impairments. Stamina and endurance are critical for maintaining high service standards.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, a customer-centric attitude, and the ability to multitask in high-pressure environments. Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering outstanding service are essential.
