Key Responsibilities

• Design and Analysis: Develop detailed structural designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects using advanced engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETABS. Conduct thorough structural analysis to ensure compliance with local and international building codes, including Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international standards like ACI, AISC, and Eurocodes.
• Project Oversight: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of structural elements into overall project plans. Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase to address any structural challenges that may arise.
• Compliance and Documentation: Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all structural designs and modifications for future reference and audits.
• Innovation and Problem-Solving: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural engineering and materials science to propose innovative solutions that enhance project efficiency and sustainability. Address complex structural issues with a proactive and analytical approach.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and project stakeholders, to deliver cohesive and high-quality engineering solutions. Participate in regular meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews to ensure project alignment and success.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing structural projects. Experience in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes and tools is advantageous.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local and international building codes, including Saudi Building Code (SBC), ACI 318, AISC 360, and Eurocodes. Knowledge of seismic design principles and wind load calculations is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in both English and Arabic is a valuable asset.
