Key Responsibilities

The Store Operations Manager will play a critical role in the success of MGL Store by executing a range of strategic and operational duties. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of store associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team productivity and engagement.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations to ensure seamless execution of processes, including inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and loss prevention. Implement best practices to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Customer Experience Management: Champion a customer-centric approach by ensuring that all store associates deliver exceptional service. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Sales and Performance Targets: Drive sales growth by setting and monitoring performance targets, analyzing sales data, and implementing actionable strategies to achieve or exceed business goals. Collaborate with the regional management team to align store performance with company objectives.
• Inventory and Stock Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Identify discrepancies, minimize shrinkage, and optimize stock replenishment to meet customer demand while reducing excess inventory.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and local labor laws. Conduct regular store audits to maintain compliance with operational standards and mitigate risks.
• Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation: Oversee store layout, product displays, and visual merchandising to create an inviting and organized shopping environment. Ensure that the store adheres to brand guidelines and corporate visual standards.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on store performance, including sales metrics, inventory status, and operational KPIs. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, address challenges, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification in retail management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive retail management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in a high-volume retail environment is highly desirable.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, inventory reports, and operational metrics to drive informed decision-making. Familiarity with retail management software and POS systems is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify operational challenges, implement effective solutions, and adapt to changing business needs. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset is critical.
• Customer Focus: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term customer relationships. Ability to handle customer escalations with professionalism and empathy.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
