Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and committed Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices. This includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, as well as flagging and clarifying any unusual or questionable items. You will also research and resolve invoice discrepancies, post transactions to journals and ledgers, and set up invoices for payment.

Your duties will also involve preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and corresponding with vendors. You will generate monthly reports and prepare analysis of accounts, assisting with month-end closing and providing supporting documentation for audits. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with VAT rules and continuously improve the payment process.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of accounting policies and standards, as well as proficiency in accounting software. Attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and strong analytical skills are essential. You should also be committed, enthusiastic, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
