Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Quality Officer to join our esteemed Quality Department. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and possess a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) credential. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in supporting the implementation and monitoring of our organization’s Quality Management System, ensuring strict adherence to healthcare accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. Your contributions will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and enhancing patient safety across all levels of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Monitoring: Oversee and ensure compliance with organizational policies, healthcare regulations, and established quality standards to maintain the highest levels of operational integrity.
- Quality Audits and Assessments: Plan, execute, and lead internal quality audits, inspections, and compliance evaluations to identify areas of excellence and opportunities for enhancement.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze quality indicators, assess performance trends, and prepare detailed reports to support data-driven decision-making and strategic quality initiatives.
- Incident Management: Facilitate incident reporting systems, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate and support quality improvement initiatives across clinical and administrative departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with CBAHI, Ministry of Health, and other relevant accreditation standards, ensuring the organization remains prepared for accreditation readiness activities.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of quality policies, procedures, and documentation to uphold best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Staff Education and Training: Organize and facilitate quality and patient safety education programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Performance Improvement Projects: Participate in accreditation readiness activities and organizational performance improvement projects to drive measurable enhancements in healthcare delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) – Mandatory.
- Certification: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) – Mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare quality, quality assurance, or quality management within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth understanding of quality management systems, patient safety principles, and healthcare performance improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience with internal auditing, quality indicator analysis, data interpretation, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with CBAHI, Saudi Ministry of Health, and international healthcare accreditation standards; knowledge of JCI is considered advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with quality management software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
