Key Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities designed to enhance operational efficiency and support executive leadership. Your core duties will include:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports to provide accurate and timely insights into business performance.
• Financial Modeling & Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning, investment evaluations, and long-term business initiatives.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market conditions.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions.
• Profitability & Cost Analysis: Analyze revenue streams, operating costs, gross margins, and profitability across business units to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Cash Flow Management: Prepare cash flow forecasts and support working capital management to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and executive dashboards to monitor financial health and operational efficiency.
• Project Evaluation: Assess the financial feasibility of new projects, investments, and business initiatives to guide executive decision-making.
• Financial Closing Support: Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes by providing detailed financial analysis and reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Accounting, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and other departments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver management presentations and executive reports to communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency through technological advancements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices to ensure adherence and mitigate risks.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or a comparable role.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis. Familiarity with ERP systems and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a valuable asset.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to solving complex financial challenges.
• Communication & Presentation: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as ACCA or ICAEW are highly advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the field.
