Finance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance department, ensuring robust financial management, regulatory compliance, and long-term business growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this pivotal role will oversee all financial operations, from budgeting and financial reporting to cash flow management and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience in finance, a deep understanding of Saudi financial regulations, and a proven track record of driving financial excellence in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the organization by executing the following responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with Saudi financial regulations, including ZATCA requirements, VAT, and Corporate Income Tax (where applicable).
• Budgeting & Performance Monitoring: Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor performance against financial targets, and provide actionable insights to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage liquidity, working capital, and cash flow to maintain financial stability, while overseeing banking relationships and negotiating financing arrangements as needed.
• Internal Controls & Audit Coordination: Establish and enforce robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with governance standards. Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly to uphold financial integrity.
• Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and profitability assessments to support executive decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture through continuous professional development and strategic talent management.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department heads to align financial strategies with operational goals, ensuring cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall business performance.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks, assess their impact, and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s financial health.
• Regulatory & Policy Adherence: Ensure full compliance with company policies, governance frameworks, and applicable laws, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA is highly advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of IFRS and Saudi financial regulations, along with expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Core Competencies: Strategic thinking, leadership, business acumen, analytical problem-solving, and exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong stakeholder management capabilities are essential.
• Nationality: Saudi National.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, office-based position with occasional travel requirements. The role may involve extended working hours during critical financial periods, such as month-end closings, audits, or budget planning cycles. The Finance Manager will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all financial matters.
