About Almajdouie Holding and NextTech Technology

Almajdouie Holding is a leading Saudi conglomerate with a rich heritage dating back to 1965, initially established in the land transport sector. Over the decades, the company has evolved into a diversified enterprise, delivering innovative solutions and services across multiple industries, including automotive, logistics, manufacturing, real estate, investment, and education. With a strong presence throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and associate offices spanning the GCC, North America, Europe, the Far East, the Middle East, and Africa, Almajdouie Holding operates as a dynamic and growth-oriented organization. The company employs over 5,000 professionals, offering diverse career opportunities in a multicultural environment where employees gain exposure to multiple industries and markets while contributing to strategic transformation initiatives.

NextTech Technology, a KSA AutoTech venture, is a strategic initiative backed by Almajdouie Group—one of Saudi Arabia’s most trusted conglomerates with a 70+ year history in automotive, logistics, and industrial sectors—and CarDekho, India’s largest integrated auto platform serving over 50 million monthly users. NextTech is addressing the three most critical challenges faced by Saudi car buyers: determining what to buy, where to buy, and how to buy. For dealers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), the company provides intelligent listing platforms, advertising solutions, SaaS tools, and used car listings. Almajdouie’s market credibility, extensive dealer relationships, and institutional backing position NextTech for a competitive advantage from day one.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial strategy of NextTech Technology in Saudi Arabia, focusing on revenue growth across MarTech, AutoTech/SaaS, marketplace, and data solutions. The role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities designed to expand the company’s market presence and strengthen its position in the automotive technology ecosystem. Key duties include:

  • Strategic Growth and Partnership Development: Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy tailored to the Saudi market, identifying and securing high-impact partnerships with automotive OEMs, distributors, dealerships, and advertising agencies. Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to deal closure, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, general distributors, and dealer groups. Gain a deep understanding of their business needs and deliver customized solutions that generate measurable business value and return on investment (ROI).
  • Commercial Negotiation and Agreement Management: Lead negotiations with potential and existing partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to facilitate seamless client delivery and post-sales support.
  • Market and Competitive Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine commercial strategies. Leverage this intelligence to inform product development and enhance the company’s competitive positioning in the market.
  • Industry Representation and Team Leadership: Represent NextTech Technology at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and forge strategic alliances. As the business expands, take the lead in building and mentoring the Business Development team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a combination of relevant experience, industry knowledge, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 12 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles, with a focus on the automotive or AutoTech sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth, first-hand knowledge of the Saudi automotive ecosystem, including an understanding of OEM structures, general distributor relationships, franchised dealer operations, and the independent sub-dealer market. This expertise is critical for navigating complex business landscapes and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling to and building relationships with OEMs, general distributors, or dealer groups in Saudi Arabia and, ideally, the broader GCC region, particularly the UAE.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential, with native-level proficiency in Arabic required to effectively engage with stakeholders at the highest levels of the Saudi business community.
