Junior General Accountant | Riyadh | Immediate Joining | Bilingual (Arabic & English)

Position Overview

GOLYV is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior General Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential, along with a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior General Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of critical financial tasks, including:

• Transaction Processing: Accurately process and post daily financial transactions and journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Account Reconciliations: Conduct daily reconciliations with customers to verify and validate account balances, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
• Bank Reconciliation: Monitor the automated payment platform and reconcile all transactions with corresponding bank statements to identify and resolve any inconsistencies.
• VAT Compliance: Prepare, issue, and manage VAT invoices in strict adherence to Saudi regulatory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• AR and AP Management: Review, reconcile, and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) balances to optimize cash flow and maintain financial stability.
• Month-End Closing Support: Assist with month-end closing activities, including data verification, adjustments, and financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Collaborative Support: Provide assistance to the Finance team with additional accounting tasks, financial reporting, and ad-hoc projects as needed to support organizational objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with a proven track record in financial operations or general accounting.
• Location: Must be currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and available to join immediately.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reconciliations, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting systems or ERP software is considered a valuable asset.
• Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, exceptional attention to detail, and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently.
