Cooler Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cooler Technician to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Your expertise will play a vital part in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our cooling systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Installation and Tracking: Deliver, install, and monitor cooler movements while maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure seamless operations and resource availability.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on cooling equipment to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of systems.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring alignment with company standards and fostering long-term customer trust.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on maintenance activities, inventory levels, and spare parts usage to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team to coordinate service requests and Emergency Work Orders (EWOs), ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure the proper handling of coolers, spare parts, and adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess a Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related field. Additionally, the following technical and core competencies are essential:

Technical Skills

• Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cooling systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of safety standards and proper handling of hazardous materials to ensure workplace safety.
