Key Responsibilities

The Medical Representative will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong, professional relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders, within the designated territory to foster trust and collaboration.
• Product Promotion: Execute scientific detailing and deliver compelling product presentations to healthcare providers, emphasizing the clinical benefits and value propositions of our pharmaceutical portfolio.
• Sales Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by identifying business opportunities, addressing customer needs, and driving product adoption.
• Territory Strategy: Implement and optimize territory plans to maximize market coverage, ensuring comprehensive reach to all relevant healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, track market trends, and gather customer feedback to provide actionable insights to management, enabling informed strategic decision-making.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely records of field activities using the company’s CRM system, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Event Participation: Organize and actively participate in medical meetings, product launches, and promotional events to enhance product visibility and engagement within the medical community.
• Knowledge Management: Stay abreast of the latest developments in assigned therapeutic areas, disease management, and market dynamics to deliver accurate and up-to-date information to healthcare professionals.
• Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, or a related field within the Life Sciences.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical sector, with a track record of achieving sales targets and building strong professional networks.
• Therapeutic Expertise: Familiarity with one or more therapeutic areas, such as Ophthalmology, Primary Care, Dermatology, CNS, Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Gastroenterology, or other specialty fields, is highly advantageous.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build and sustain long-term professional relationships.
• Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, and organizational abilities to effectively manage territory operations and prioritize tasks.
• Mobility & Compliance: A valid Saudi driving license and the willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet healthcare professionals and attend events.
