Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team at ELECTRO MECHANICAL AND AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE CO. based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will oversee electrical projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines. This role demands a strong background in electrical systems, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Supervision: Lead and manage electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and client requirements.
• Team Leadership: Supervise a team of electricians and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive and safe work environment.
• Technical Oversight: Review electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard identification, and risk mitigation to prevent workplace incidents.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the functionality and reliability of electrical systems, addressing any deficiencies promptly and effectively.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Resource Management: Coordinate the allocation of tools, equipment, and materials to optimize project efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose complex electrical issues, propose viable solutions, and implement corrective actions to restore system functionality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Alternatively, a diploma in electrical technology with extensive hands-on experience may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electrical supervision, preferably within the HVAC, mechanical, or industrial sectors.
• Certifications: Valid electrical supervisor license or certification from a recognized institution. Knowledge of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) regulations is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, motors, and automation. Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools is advantageous.
• Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the capacity to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, is essential for seamless coordination and documentation.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in various settings, including construction sites, industrial facilities, and client premises. The Electrical Supervisor must be adaptable to changing conditions, including outdoor work in Makkah’s climate. Travel to project locations may be necessary, and occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
