Key Responsibilities

The Senior Interface Lead will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of Parsons’ projects by leading the development, coordination, and implementation of interface management strategies. The core responsibilities include:

• Interface Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive interface management plans that align with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. This includes identifying critical interfaces, defining ownership, and establishing communication protocols.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for all interface-related matters, fostering strong relationships with internal teams, external contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies. Ensure alignment and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on technical interface challenges, including system integration, data exchange protocols, and interoperability standards. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure compatibility across all project components.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential interface risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Monitor interface performance throughout the project lifecycle and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of interface agreements, changes, and resolutions. Prepare detailed reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key interface milestones, risks, and recommendations.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of interface engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team adheres to best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Project Management, Systems Engineering, or Interface Management is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in interface management, systems integration, or a closely related discipline. Prior experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of interface management tools, software, and methodologies. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 15288, IEEE 1471, or equivalent frameworks is advantageous.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive consensus in high-pressure environments. Strong communication and negotiation skills are critical.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) are a plus.
