Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and oversight to a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful execution of electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• System Design & Development: Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation, while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and contractors, to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical designs and installations meet international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC) and client-specific requirements, conducting thorough reviews and audits as necessary.
• Innovation & Problem-Solving: Identify opportunities for technological advancements and efficiency improvements, proposing innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary technical liaison between Parsons, clients, and regulatory authorities, presenting project updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating smooth project execution.
• Mentorship & Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring junior engineers, conducting training sessions, and promoting best practices in electrical engineering.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or construction.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit), power systems analysis, and familiarity with industry standards and codes.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues, propose effective solutions, and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
