Operator & License Owner, Jeddah

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as the Operator & License Owner in Jeddah. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operations of our soccer facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will hold the operational license and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the facility, including staff supervision, facility maintenance, and adherence to local laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the soccer facility in Jeddah, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all activities. This includes scheduling, facility maintenance, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
• Compliance & Licensing: Serve as the primary license holder, ensuring full compliance with all local, regional, and national regulations governing sports facilities. This includes obtaining and renewing necessary permits, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records for regulatory inspections.
• Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a team of facility staff, including coaches, maintenance personnel, and administrative staff. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce.
• Customer Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Foster a welcoming and professional environment that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage the facility’s financial performance, including budgeting, revenue tracking, and expense control. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth while maintaining financial transparency and accountability.
• Health & Safety: Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all staff and visitors. Conduct regular risk assessments, maintain emergency preparedness plans, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Facility Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the facility, including equipment, infrastructure, and amenities. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to address repair needs and ensure the facility remains in optimal condition.
• Community Engagement: Represent the facility in the local community by building relationships with schools, sports clubs, and other stakeholders. Promote the facility’s offerings through marketing initiatives, partnerships, and community events to drive engagement and participation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid operational license for sports facilities in Saudi Arabia, with a proven track record in facility management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a sports or recreational facility.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and operational reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Jeddah as required.
