Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Associate within the Audit & Assurance practice, specifically supporting the Audit function in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) under the Mustaqbaly Program. Key Responsibilities

As an Associate in our Audit & Assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in executing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with international standards, and providing value-added insights to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Statement Audits: Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulatory requirements.
• Risk Assessment & Internal Controls: Collaborate with senior team members to identify and evaluate financial risks, assess the effectiveness of internal controls, and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness while maintaining professional integrity and confidentiality.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit documentation, including working papers, findings, and recommendations, to support audit conclusions and client reporting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Deloitte’s policies, procedures, and ethical standards, as well as local laws and regulations governing audit practices in KSA.
• Professional Development: Participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to enhance technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIA.
• Team Collaboration: Support senior auditors and managers in delivering high-quality audit services, fostering a collaborative work environment, and contributing to team success.

Qualifications & Skills

To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience: Prior experience in audit, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates. Fresh graduates with a strong academic record and internship experience will also be considered.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with audit software or ERP systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and confidently. A proactive mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
