Position Overview

HOYER Logistics Arabia, based in Dammam, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant at HOYER Logistics Arabia, your core responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial and accounting functions, including:

• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision, ensuring full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Execute month-end and year-end close processes to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of financial records. Prepare invoices and supporting documentation, updating all details meticulously within the accounting system.
• Financial Operations: Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), to ensure smooth and efficient processing. Prepare comprehensive financial statements and regulatory reporting documents in accordance with applicable standards.
• Audit Management: Coordinate audit processes seamlessly, acting as a liaison with auditors and promptly responding to their information requests to facilitate a smooth and transparent audit experience.
• VAT Compliance: Ensure the accurate and timely submission of Value-Added Tax (VAT) returns in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Stay abreast of evolving VAT regulations and proactively implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Monthly Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and reconciliations, analyzing financial data to verify accuracy and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting processes. Develop and document robust business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and support organizational growth.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and competencies to our team:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, providing a solid foundation for your accounting expertise.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in management accounting or financial analysis, demonstrating your ability to handle complex financial scenarios.
• Proficiency in advanced accounting software and Microsoft Excel, enabling you to leverage technology for optimal financial management.
• In-depth knowledge of general ledger functions and accounting regulations, with a strong emphasis on IFRS compliance.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
