Batterjee Medical College invites a highly skilled and dedicated ER Clinic Nurse to join our team and provide exceptional nursing care and emergency response services within our campus clinic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and emergency preparedness.

• Clinical Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care and immediate assistance in emergency and urgent medical situations.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies across the campus, assessing and stabilizing patients until further medical care or transfer is arranged.
• Administer intramuscular (IM) and intravenous (IV) medications/injections, perform ECG procedures, and assist the ER Clinic Doctor during examinations and treatments.
• Provide reassurance, guidance, and support to patients and students attending the clinic.

• Clinic Readiness and Equipment Maintenance:
• Ensure emergency and clinical equipment is clean, functional, and ready for immediate use.
• Monitor and maintain medication and medical supply inventory, and ensure adequate availability of consumables and disposable supplies.
• Maintain the clinic in a state of readiness for effective emergency response.

• Infection Prevention and Patient Safety:
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control, ensuring safe handling and disposal of medical and clinical waste.
• Follow established protocols for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing clinical areas and equipment.

• Clinical Documentation and Administrative Support:
• Maintain accurate patient and clinic records, ensuring confidentiality of all patient and medical information.
• Assist with reception and administrative duties, and prepare required clinical records, logs, reports, and documentation.

• Collaboration and Professional Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the ER Clinic Doctor and relevant departments to ensure effective patient care and emergency response.
• Provide assistance and guidance to students, employees, and visitors requiring medical attention.
• Participate in meetings, emergency preparedness activities, drills, and relevant training programs.
• Maintain a professional and service-oriented approach when interacting with patients, students, employees, and visitors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
• Valid professional classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Valid BLS certification is required. Additional emergency-care certifications such as ACLS are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department, ER clinic, urgent care, outpatient clinic, or similar setting.
