IT Manager - Infrastructure & Cyber Security

About the Role

Our client, a pioneering FinTech enterprise based in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a seasoned and strategic IT Manager specializing in Infrastructure and Cyber Security to join their leadership team. This senior-level position reports directly to executive management and is pivotal in shaping the organization’s technological resilience, security posture, and digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of robust IT systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise platforms that support the company’s mission in the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Manager – Infrastructure & Cyber Security will play a central role in driving operational excellence and safeguarding critical assets. Core responsibilities include:

• IT Infrastructure Leadership: Oversee the entire IT infrastructure ecosystem, encompassing networks, servers, storage systems, and the digital financial platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability to meet business demands.
• System Optimization & Capacity Planning: Lead initiatives to enhance system efficiency, implement capacity planning strategies, and drive infrastructure improvements to support growth and innovation.
• Cybersecurity Governance: Develop, deploy, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity controls to protect sensitive systems, applications, and corporate data from evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
• Security Assessments & Incident Response: Conduct regular security assessments, manage cybersecurity incidents, and ensure adherence to SAMA’s Cybersecurity Framework and relevant information security regulations to maintain regulatory compliance.
• IT Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce robust IT governance policies covering access management, data protection, change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity, in full alignment with SAMA’s stringent requirements.
• Vendor & Budget Management: Oversee IT budgets, manage technology vendors, and supervise outsourced service providers, ensuring all engagements comply with SAMA’s outsourcing regulations and deliver optimal value.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 4 to 7 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise systems.
• Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity best practices, with a strong understanding of risk mitigation and compliance frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or equivalent credentials are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards for information security management systems.
• Eligibility to meet SAMA’s professional requirements for IT leadership roles in Saudi Arabia, including permanent residency status.
