Procurement Analyst - RBU

Role Purpose

As a Procurement Analyst - RBU, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-led decision-making across the QMM procurement program by delivering comprehensive procurement analytics, category intelligence, bid analysis, and savings tracking. Your expertise will empower stakeholders to make informed strategic choices while optimizing procurement outcomes. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Accountabilities

In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of procurement and analytical tasks, including:

• Data-Driven Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain procurement dashboards, trackers, executive reports, and KPI summaries to provide real-time visibility into procurement performance and savings realization.
• Supplier and Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth analysis of supplier pricing, bid returns, category benchmarks, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and risk mitigation.
• Commercial Analysis and Scenario Planning: Prepare detailed commercial comparison tables, savings calculations, and scenario analyses to support procurement strategies and decision-making processes.
• Data Management and Governance: Maintain accurate supplier databases, procurement schedules, and category pipeline data while ensuring compliance with governance requirements and complete record-keeping.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Support governance reporting at critical milestones, monitor savings realization, procurement progress, and risk indicators, and present findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and experience criteria:

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3-7 years of hands-on experience in procurement analysis, commercial analysis, cost analysis, or business reporting, with a proven track record in delivering actionable insights.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data manipulation, along with experience using Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools to create compelling dashboards and reports.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, or Law, tailored to the scope of the role.
• Industry-Specific Experience: Demonstrated experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, developer-led procurement, or comparable capital project environments, with a focus on procurement for construction packages, engineering services, materials, fit-out, or infrastructure-related scopes.
• Stakeholder Management and Governance: Strong stakeholder management skills, a deep understanding of governance frameworks, and the ability to maintain meticulous procurement records while collaborating effectively with project teams, commercial teams, finance teams, senior management, and external suppliers.
• Analytical and Reporting Expertise: Proven experience in producing commercial comparison tables, savings calculations, tender evaluation analyses, procurement dashboards, and governance reports to drive informed decision-making.
