Role Overview

As a Senior Consultant/Manager in our Cyber Operate team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients’ digital assets by leading advanced cybersecurity operations. This position requires a deep understanding of cyber threats, robust analytical skills, and the ability to develop and implement cutting-edge security measures. You will be responsible for compiling detailed investigation and analysis reports, analyzing network traffic, and evaluating the effectiveness of security technologies. Your expertise will be instrumental in detecting adversary actions, leading response efforts for advanced attacks, and identifying gaps in IT infrastructure through simulated attacker behaviors. Additionally, you will provide expert investigative support for complex security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and continuously improve processes to enhance the efficiency of our Security Operations Center (SOC).

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Compiling and delivering detailed investigation and analysis reports for internal CSOC consumption and senior management.
• Analyzing network traffic, IDS/IPS/DLP events, packet capture, and firewall logs to identify potential threats.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of security technologies and developing advanced queries and alerts to detect adversary actions.
• Leading response and investigation efforts into advanced and targeted cyber attacks.
• Identifying gaps in IT infrastructure by simulating attacker behaviors and responses.
• Providing expert analytic investigative support for large-scale and complex security incidents.
• Performing root cause analysis of security incidents to enhance the alert catalog and improve detection capabilities.
• Continuously improving processes across multiple detection sets to ensure more efficient and effective Security Operations.
• Reviewing alerts generated by detection infrastructure to identify and mitigate false positives, modifying alerts as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of total professional experience, with 3 to 5 years in a similar role within cybersecurity operations.
• Proven expertise in incident response and resolution, SIEM platforms (such as Splunk), threat detection and analysis, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
• Required certifications, including GCIH, CySA+, SANS SEC503, or CISSP.
• Fluency in English is essential to effectively communicate and collaborate in a global environment.
