Showroom Manager - Window Furnishings

About the Role

ABC Blinds is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Showroom Manager – Window Furnishings to lead our showroom operations and drive sales growth in the window furnishings sector. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our showroom, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maximizing sales opportunities. You will collaborate closely with our design, production, and sales teams to align product offerings with market demands and deliver tailored solutions to our clients. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for interior design, customer service, and strategic business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Showroom Leadership: Manage all aspects of showroom operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and visual merchandising to create an inviting and high-converting retail environment.
• Sales & Customer Engagement: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, while providing expert guidance to customers on window furnishings, including blinds, shutters, curtains, and awnings.
• Product Knowledge & Training: Maintain deep expertise in window furnishings products, trends, and installation processes. Train and mentor showroom staff to ensure they deliver accurate, professional, and consultative advice to customers.
• Vendor & Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely product deliveries, competitive pricing, and access to the latest innovations in window treatments.
• Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute in-showroom promotions, seasonal campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives that drive foot traffic and sales.
• Inventory & Order Management: Oversee inventory levels, order processing, and stock replenishment to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
• Customer Experience Excellence: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a seamless purchasing journey from consultation to installation.
• Financial Performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales metrics, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction scores. Provide regular reports to senior management on showroom performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all showroom operations and customer interactions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in retail management, preferably within the window furnishings, interior design, or home improvement industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a customer-centric approach. Proficiency in retail management software, CRM systems, and basic financial analysis is advantageous.
