As a Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are presented with excellence, maximizing visibility and consumer engagement in retail outlets.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Merchandiser, your primary responsibility is to optimize the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products in assigned retail outlets. Your role is critical in maintaining brand integrity, driving sales, and enhancing the consumer experience. You will execute daily tasks with precision, ensuring that all merchandising activities align with PepsiCo’s standards and the approved planograms. Your key responsibilities include:

• Daily Store Visits: Follow a structured journey plan provided by your supervisor to visit specific retail outlets, ensuring consistent coverage and execution.
• Merchandising Excellence: Merchandise PepsiCo products across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays, adhering to approved planograms to maintain optimal product placement and visibility.
• POS Material Management: Place point-of-sale (POS) materials strategically next to PepsiCo displays to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
• Product Rotation and Maintenance: Rotate products using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure freshness and remove sub-standard products, maintaining a clean and visually appealing stock on shelves at all times.
• Competitive Monitoring: Track and report competitive activities in retail outlets to identify opportunities and ensure PepsiCo remains the preferred choice for consumers.
• Compliance and Reporting: Adhere to agreed terms with assigned retail customers and outlets, reporting any deviations or non-compliance to your supervisor immediately. Provide daily activity reports to keep your team informed of progress and challenges.
• Sampling and Promotions: Participate in in-store sampling sessions and promotional campaigns when required, engaging with consumers to drive brand loyalty and sales.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional appearance and behavior in line with PepsiCo’s code of conduct, representing the company with integrity and enthusiasm.

Key Performance Measures

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed key performance indicators, including:

• Execution Standard: Consistently deliver high-quality merchandising that aligns with PepsiCo’s standards and planograms.
• LTA Enforcement: Ensure compliance with Local Trade Agreements (LTA) to maintain strong relationships with retail partners and protect PepsiCo’s market position.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Follow your daily journey plan diligently to maximize coverage and execution across assigned retail outlets.
