Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing end-to-end procurement processes, including the following core responsibilities:

• Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify, assess, and onboard international suppliers that meet our quality, cost, and reliability standards. Conduct thorough due diligence to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Strategic Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, flexible payment terms, and optimized delivery schedules. Your ability to balance cost savings with quality assurance will directly impact our bottom line.
• Purchase Order Management: Generate, review, and manage purchase orders with precision, ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and compliance requirements. Maintain meticulous records to support audit trails and procurement transparency.
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate closely with logistics teams to facilitate timely shipping, customs clearance, and delivery of materials. Address any logistical challenges proactively to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate supplier performance against agreed-upon KPIs, including quality, delivery timeliness, and cost efficiency. Address discrepancies promptly and implement corrective actions to uphold supplier accountability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to import/export regulations, trade policies, and industry standards. Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes to mitigate legal and operational risks.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation, including contracts, invoices, and compliance records. Generate regular reports to provide insights into procurement trends, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on purchasing experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a preference for SAP. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential for data analysis and reporting.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.
