• Comprehensive Inspection and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of all roadwork activities to verify that contractors are executing their tasks in strict accordance with contract specifications, approved shop drawings, and project methodologies. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that every phase of construction meets the required standards.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Actively monitor contractor progress on a daily basis and provide detailed, actionable reports to management. Your insights will be instrumental in identifying potential delays, risks, or deviations, enabling proactive measures to keep projects on track.
• Compliance and Methodology Verification: Verify that all work is being carried out in compliance with approved methodologies, site instructions, and regulatory requirements. Your role will include recording observations, documenting non-conformities, and escalating findings to the relevant authorities for timely resolution.
• Site Safety and Service Protection: Ensure the protection of critical services and utilities on-site, mitigating risks, and preventing disruptions. Your vigilance will contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of the construction environment.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work independently yet collaboratively with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to address challenges, resolve discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you will bring a robust background in civil engineering, coupled with a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in infrastructure inspection, particularly in road construction projects. Your qualifications should include:

• A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, reflecting your technical proficiency and foundational knowledge.
• Proven expertise in contract compliance, quality control, and site management, with a track record of ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
• Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English, to facilitate clear and concise reporting and collaboration.
