Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven HR Specialist to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping our human resources strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, from talent acquisition and employee engagement to performance management and compliance, all while driving initiatives that enhance workforce productivity and retention. Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating seamless onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing workplace concerns, mediating conflicts, and fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect. Develop and implement engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance review cycles, provide guidance on career development plans, and support managers in setting and achieving performance goals. Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee competencies.
- HR Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements across the Middle East region. Maintain accurate HR records, update policies as needed, and conduct regular audits to mitigate risks.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration: Manage payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and compensation structures in collaboration with finance and external partners. Analyze market trends to recommend competitive and equitable reward packages.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and workforce data to generate insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Monitor turnover rates, diversity metrics, and employee satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives by promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent from underrepresented groups, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical devices industry.
- Strong knowledge of regional labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices in the Middle East.
- Proven expertise in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable; additional regional language skills are a valuable asset.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
