Manager - Product Owner

Position Overview

As a Manager - Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, governance, and delivery of Data & AI products, ensuring they deliver maximum business value and drive organizational transformation. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven decision-making. You will oversee the end-to-end development of high-impact products, from vision and roadmap creation to execution and continuous enhancement, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap for Data & AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and data-driven transformation goals. Establish clear product vision, measurable objectives, KPIs, and value realization frameworks to track success.
• Portfolio Management: Prioritize initiatives and investments based on business impact, strategic alignment, and resource availability. Oversee a diverse portfolio of data, AI, analytics, and digital products, ensuring balanced execution and high-value delivery.
• Product Lifecycle Leadership: Lead the entire lifecycle of Data & AI products, from ideation and backlog prioritization to sprint planning, release management, and post-launch optimization. Ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of expected business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, design, and data teams, fostering collaboration and alignment. Engage executive stakeholders to define priorities, resolve strategic risks, and drive informed decision-making.
• User-Centric Design & Adoption: Champion user-centric design principles by overseeing user research, journey mapping, and usability assessments. Ensure products deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-value user experiences while driving adoption and business engagement across the organization.
• Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce product governance standards, operating procedures, and quality benchmarks. Monitor product performance, reliability, and compliance with Data Governance, PDPL, security, and organizational standards to mitigate risks and ensure operational integrity.
• Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Product Management professionals. Establish product management methodologies, templates, and best practices to elevate organizational capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Product Management, Data Products, Analytics, or AI-related domains, with a proven track record of managing enterprise-scale product portfolios.
• Technical & Strategic Expertise: Strong understanding of Data & AI platforms, governance frameworks, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
• Certifications: Professional certifications in Product Management, Agile methodologies, Project Management, or Change Management are highly desirable.
