Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Field Engineer - Structural to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will serve as the on-site authority for all structural engineering activities, ensuring that construction operations strictly adhere to approved design specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians while fostering seamless collaboration with project managers, architects, and contractors. Key Responsibilities

• Site Leadership and Supervision: Oversee all structural engineering activities on construction sites, ensuring full compliance with approved plans, specifications, and the Saudi Building Code.
• Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct rigorous daily site inspections and quality control checks to verify structural integrity, adherence to material specifications, and workmanship standards.
• Technical Analysis and Problem-Solving: Analyze structural performance data and field conditions to provide actionable technical recommendations and solutions for resolving design or construction challenges.
• Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and delegate tasks to a team of field engineers and technicians, monitoring performance and fostering professional growth.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive field reports, inspection logs, and project documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate record-keeping.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless coordination and timely resolution of structural issues.
• Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure work environment for all personnel on-site.
• Technical Review and Interpretation: Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accurate implementation in the field.
• Material and Testing Oversight: Manage material testing, inspections, and certifications in alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
• Communication and Reporting: Present technical findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders through clear and concise written and verbal reports.
• Project Meetings and Input: Participate in project meetings, providing expert insights on structural matters, timelines, and resource allocation to drive project success.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in structural engineering field operations and site supervision.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in structural analysis and design software, including SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
• Code Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of building codes and standards, such as IBC, ACI, AISC, and the Saudi Building Code.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in project management and construction site supervision.
• Quality and Safety Expertise: Strong background in quality control procedures, material testing, and safety protocols.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English, with the capacity to convey technical information clearly.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical capabilities to manage complex projects efficiently.
