Electrical Department Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Department Manager to lead our electrical engineering team at Solution Leaders Fayez Engineering, based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This on-site role is pivotal in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality electrical engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing complex electrical systems and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Spearhead the planning, coordination, and implementation of electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on electrical design, installation, testing, and maintenance, ensuring all work meets regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring project deliverables align with their expectations.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical systems and procedures comply with local, national, and international regulations, including safety standards such as NFPA, IEC, and NEC.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize operational costs without compromising quality or safety.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to streamline procurement processes and ensure seamless project execution.
• Innovation & Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, implementing automation tools, and enhancing operational efficiency within the department.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, or CEng) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, automation, and renewable energy integration.
• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and international electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex technical challenges and optimize system performance.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
