Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership in Financial Operations: Oversee the entire accounting cycle, from journal entries and general ledger management to meticulous financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
• Tax Compliance and Reporting: Expertly handle Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax filings in strict alignment with ZATCA regulations. Prepare, review, and submit all tax and Zakat returns with precision and adherence to deadlines.
• Financial Integrity and Approvals: Ensure proper accounting treatment and approval workflows for all financial transactions, maintaining transparency and accountability across the organization.
• Collaboration with Auditors: Serve as a key liaison between internal and external auditors, providing comprehensive documentation and clarifications to facilitate seamless audit processes.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Compile and analyze periodic financial statements and management reports, delivering insights that empower data-driven strategic decisions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local statutory requirements, mitigating risks and ensuring operational compliance.
• ERP and System Proficiency: Operate efficiently within our ERP and accounting systems, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance financial visibility.
• Strategic Financial Advisory: Support senior management in financial analysis, forecasting, and decision-making, contributing to long-term organizational success.

While experience in the IT or technology sector is highly valued, your expertise in accounting fundamentals and adaptability will be instrumental in thriving within our evolving business landscape.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, complemented by a CMA certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a proven track record in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
• Proficient technical skills, including advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with an aptitude for leveraging data for strategic insights.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all financial processes.
