About The Role

At Noon, we operate hybrid classrooms that redefine the teaching landscape: a star teacher delivers lessons remotely, students gather in physical classrooms, and an in-room facilitator ensures seamless execution. This model thrives on the expertise of a Head Teacher who shapes the curriculum, maintains academic standards, and ensures effective delivery to thousands of students daily. This role is not about administrative management but about academic leadership—where your experience and judgment directly influence the learning outcomes of a vast student body.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum & Term Planning (50%):
    • Collaborate with the design team to define the science curriculum for the National track, focusing on topic sequencing, depth, and alignment with national assessments such as Qudurat, Tahsili, and Nafes.
    • Review and approve term and year plans, ensuring they align with academic goals and student needs.
    • Act as the final academic gatekeeper by reviewing and approving lessons before they are delivered to students.
  • Coaching Delivery Teachers (30%):
    • Mentor and coach teachers who deliver lessons in hybrid classrooms, focusing on content delivery, student engagement, and effective use of technology.
    • Conduct observations, provide constructive feedback, and implement follow-up strategies to enhance teaching practices.
    • Partner with the Learning Excellence team to evaluate teaching performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Delivering Lessons (20%):
    • Teach sessions directly to stay connected with the curriculum, assess its practical application, and gather firsthand student feedback.
    • Use insights from student interactions to refine and improve the curriculum for future terms.

What You’ll Own

  • The academic integrity and quality of the science curriculum for Middle School and High School on the National track, including topic weighting, depth, and alignment with assessment standards.
  • Term and year plans, developed in collaboration with Design Leads and approved by you before implementation.
  • Final review of all lessons to ensure they meet academic and pedagogical standards before reaching students.
  • Coaching and professional development for the delivery teaching team, ensuring they are equipped to excel in hybrid learning environments.
  • Analyzing assessment data—including diagnostics, exit tickets, end-of-chapter results, and learning gain metrics—to inform curriculum adjustments and improvements.
  • Serving as the academic authority in cross-functional discussions with Design, Learning Excellence, Product, and Data teams to drive alignment and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Must Have:
    • Minimum 10 years of hands-on classroom teaching experience, with a strong foundation in both Middle School and High School science education.
    • 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or coaching role, such as Head of Department, Subject Lead, Mentor, or instructional coach.
    • Deep familiarity with Saudi national assessments, including Qudurat, Tahsili, and Nafes, and the ability to align curriculum with these standards.
    • Strong digital literacy and proficiency in using educational technology tools to enhance teaching and learning.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
    • A passion for educational innovation and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Experience with hybrid or blended learning models and familiarity with AI-driven educational tools.
    • Prior involvement in curriculum development or educational research.
    • Proficiency in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
