As our Tender Specialist, you will be responsible for orchestrating the entire tender lifecycle—from initial opportunity identification to post-award execution—while fostering seamless collaboration across internal teams. Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Opportunity Identification: Proactively scan and evaluate tender opportunities across leading platforms such as NUPCO (SRM & iNUPCO), Wasfaty, Etimad, Direct Purchase (DP), Ministry Portals, Customer Platforms, and private sector channels to identify high-potential bids that align with our business strategy.
- End-to-End Tender Management: Oversee the complete tender lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and bid preparation to submission, award, and post-award follow-up, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulatory compliance.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Develop, review, and submit meticulously crafted technical, commercial, and regulatory documentation, including pricing analyses, bid recommendations, and compliance reports, to maximize our competitive positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Business Development, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Marketing, and Key Account Management teams to align resources, insights, and strategies for successful bid execution.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct in-depth pricing analyses, commercial comparisons, and profitability assessments to inform strategic bid recommendations that drive profitability and market expansion.
- Real-Time Tender Monitoring: Track tender updates, addendums, clarifications, and objections with diligence, ensuring transparent and timely communication across all stakeholders to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Contract and Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor awarded tenders, support contract implementation, and coordinate supply chain commitments with relevant departments to ensure seamless execution and operational excellence.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of tender documentation, pricing approvals, contracts, and management reports, ensuring full compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance tender processes to improve efficiency, reduce risks, and foster a culture of innovation and compliance.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong preference for candidates with a healthcare or pharmaceutical background.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in tender management, particularly within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sectors, where you have successfully navigated complex procurement processes.
- Proven expertise with government procurement platforms such as NUPCO, Wasfaty, Etimad, and iNUPCO, along with a deep understanding of SFDA regulations and Saudi healthcare procurement frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills, enabling you to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with precision.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, allowing you to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive collaborative success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications, with advanced skills in data analysis, reporting, and process documentation.
