We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Registrar to join our dynamic healthcare team at Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities
The Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Registrar will be responsible for a comprehensive range of clinical and administrative duties, including:
- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with ENT-related conditions, documenting findings accurately and designing individualized care plans in alignment with best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Interventions: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe appropriate medications, and recommend treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs, while ensuring compliance with Saudi health regulations and CBAHI standards.
- Patient Education and Advocacy: Empower patients by providing clear, culturally sensitive education on their health conditions, diagnostic procedures, treatment options, medication management, and preventive measures to promote long-term well-being.
- Clinical Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, ensuring adherence to NCC policies, CBAHI standards, and MOH regulations. Fulfill all documentation obligations promptly and accurately.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across departments, local agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
- Quality Improvement and Professional Development: Actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and program evaluations to uphold and elevate care standards. Contribute to the mentorship and professional growth of junior staff through structured educational programs, including rounds, conferences, and journal clubs.
- Specialty-Specific Duties: Perform specialized ENT procedures and interventions based on your training, experience, and approved clinical privileges, while staying current with advancements in the field.
- Policy and Procedure Adherence: Strictly adhere to NCC’s policies, strategic plan, bylaws, and regulatory requirements, including fire safety protocols and attendance standards.
- Continuous Professional Development: Engage in lifelong learning by participating in continuing medical education (CME) programs, research activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical expertise and contribute to the advancement of ENT care.
Work Environment and Schedule
This position is based in a fully indoor clinical setting at Nahdi Care Clinics in Riyadh. The role operates on a structured schedule of six working days per week, with one designated day off. Working hours are eight net clinical hours per day, as per the approved shift schedule determined by the Head of Department, ensuring a balanced and sustainable workload.
Qualifications and Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution, complemented by a Master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology (or a related specialty) from an accredited university. Alternatively, a Fellowship with approval from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is acceptable.
- Clinical Experience: A minimum of two years of postgraduate clinical experience in ENT or eligibility to sit for the board examination in the specialty, demonstrating a strong foundation in diagnostic and therapeutic ENT practices.
- Professional Licensure: A valid SCFHS license as a Registrar in Otorhinolaryngology, ensuring compliance with Saudi health regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Competency in office and health information systems, with the ability to navigate electronic health records and clinical software efficiently.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
