We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Transactions Accounting to lead our financial operations in Saudi Arabia. Based in Jeddah, this pivotal role will oversee all transactional accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within a dynamic and growing organization. Key Responsibilities

The Director of Transactions Accounting will play a critical role in shaping the financial integrity of our operations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the transactions accounting team, aligning financial processes with the company’s strategic objectives and ensuring adherence to Saudi Arabian regulatory standards.
• Process Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end management of transactional accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Identify training needs and implement best practices to enhance team capabilities.Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including statutory filings and internal management reporting. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards.Risk Management: Implement robust internal controls and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and minimize financial discrepancies. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on financial performance, cost optimization, and strategic investments. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and decision-making.Technology & Innovation: Drive the adoption of advanced accounting technologies and automation tools to streamline processes, reduce manual errors, and enhance operational efficiency. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to position the organization at the forefront of financial innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within a corporate or enterprise environment. Prior experience in transactional accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced Excel skills, and a strong understanding of IFRS and local regulatory requirements. Experience with financial close processes and audit coordination is a plus.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
