Key Responsibilities

As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Network Design and Architecture: Develop and deliver scalable LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center network topologies that align with industry best practices and client-specific needs. Your designs will prioritize reliability, security, and efficiency to support mission-critical operations.
• Equipment Configuration and Troubleshooting: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot advanced networking equipment, including Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls. Your technical proficiency will ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of network infrastructure components.
• On-Site Leadership and Deployment: Lead and execute on-site network deployments, migrations, and cutovers with precision and minimal disruption. Your hands-on approach will be essential in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from planning to execution and validation.
• Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architectural diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and industry standards to uphold network reliability and performance.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to align network infrastructure with organizational goals. Provide expert guidance and support to resolve complex network issues and enhance system resilience.

Your Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Proven Industry Experience: A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, with a strong track record of designing and managing large-scale network infrastructures.
• Professional Certifications: Hold a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or an equivalent certification that demonstrates your expertise in routing, switching, and network security.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP), and firewall solutions. Experience with Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
• Adaptability and Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel for on-site deployments, installations, and support activities, often on short notice, to meet client requirements across Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
