About the Role

As a Senior Team Manager, you will lead a self-directed, cross-functional team responsible for the efficient intake of poultry and processing of products to meet internal customer demands while adhering to strict management performance parameters. Your leadership will ensure compliance with defined product specifications, rigorous quality and safety standards, and operational efficiency. This role demands a strategic approach to managing high-volume production environments, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a diverse, multicultural workforce to optimize productivity, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and reduce workplace incidents.
• Production Coordination: Collaborate with the Production Management team to align poultry processing schedules, maintenance plans, and operational workflows for seamless execution.
• Quality & Compliance: Implement and maintain international quality standards, including ISO 9001 and HACCP, to uphold food safety and regulatory compliance. Monitor process controls and drive initiatives to enhance product quality and consistency.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and waste minimization through data-driven decision-making and lean management principles.
• Training & Development: Mentor and train employees to elevate performance standards, foster a collaborative work environment, and cultivate a culture of operational excellence.
• Safety & Risk Management: Champion workplace safety initiatives, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and proactively mitigate risks to maintain a secure operational environment.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within poultry or food production, with a proven track record in high-volume operations and managing multicultural teams.
• Hands-on experience coordinating production and maintenance activities, implementing automated process control systems, and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Strong working knowledge of international quality standards, including ISO 9001 and HACCP, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements effectively.
• Certifications in Supervisory Management, Internal Auditing, or recognized food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) are highly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency to facilitate clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly in data analysis tools and production management software.
• Demonstrated competencies in process optimization, cost reduction, team development, and fostering a collaborative work culture.
