Role Overview

The Strategic Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role within the Strategy Management Office, serving as a key enabler in translating Hamat’s corporate vision into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes. This role is designed for a forward-thinking professional who excels in operational strategy, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Annual Planning & OKR Development: Lead the facilitation of annual strategic planning processes, ensuring seamless alignment with corporate objectives. Collaborate with leadership teams to cascade and operationalize Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), fostering a culture of measurable progress and accountability.
• Strategic & Operational Plan Management: Support the development, evaluation, and periodic review of comprehensive strategic and operational plans. Ensure these plans remain dynamic, adaptable, and aligned with evolving business priorities and market conditions.

Operational Excellence & Standardization

• Delivery Toolkit Standardization: Design, refine, and maintain a suite of standardized templates, tools, and processes to streamline project execution, reporting, and decision-making. Champion consistency and efficiency across all strategic initiatives and operational workflows.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Progress Tracking & Review: Conduct rigorous weekly progress review meetings to assess initiative performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive accountability. Ensure initiatives remain on track and aligned with strategic goals.
• Reporting Framework & Cadence: Develop and manage a robust reporting framework that delivers timely, accurate, and insightful updates. Prepare and present weekly progress reports, monthly departmental performance overviews, quarterly board updates, and executive-level ad-hoc reports. Transform complex data into actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytical tools and methodologies to extract meaningful trends, performance gaps, and opportunities. Provide executive stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• KPI Management & Tracking: Develop and maintain a comprehensive KPI framework to monitor departmental and organizational performance. Establish clear calculation methodologies, ensure data integrity, and conduct regular performance reviews, including monthly assessments, to drive continuous improvement.

Strategic Projects & Process Innovation

• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement within existing operational processes. Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions to optimize performance, reduce waste, and elevate customer and stakeholder experiences.
• Strategic Project Support: Assist in the ideation, evaluation, and early-stage development of new strategic projects. Conduct feasibility analyses, risk assessments, and stakeholder alignment to ensure projects are viable, scalable, and aligned with Hamat’s long-term objectives.
